How SUBS works
Creators launch coins. Fans trade. Trading fees fund real gift subs. Every step is recorded on-chain.
01Launching a creator coin
- 1
Connect an EVM wallet to getsubs.tv.
- 2
Pick a platform: YouTube, Twitch, or Kick.
- 3
Enter your channel handle. The handle becomes the coin ticker.
- 4
Set your creator tax rate (floor 0.1%, cap 10%). The default is 2%.
- 5
Confirm on chain. Robinhood Chain settles the deploy.
- 6
Your coin page goes live at getsubs.tv/c/[handle].
02The Bag
Every trade on your coin generates a creator-tax portion that flows into a per-coin fund called "The Bag". The Bag accumulates in real time as trading happens. When the balance is large enough to cover a gift sub on your platform, SUBS converts it and queues the gift. You never need to watch a dashboard or click a button. The pipeline runs automatically. You can withdraw unspent balance at any time by claiming your channel.
03How trading fees fund gift subs
Trade fees flow through two layers. The first is the fixed Pons protocol layer (1% of the trade), which covers chain infrastructure. The second is the creator tax you set (default 2%), which is split into four buckets: creator bag, auto-burn, holder rewards, and treasury. The creator-bag portion accumulates until it is large enough to cover at least one gift sub. SUBS then converts that balance into a real platform gift using the off-chain payment pipeline and posts the receipt publicly on-chain.
04Claiming your channel
Any creator on YouTube, Twitch, or Kick can claim their channel to receive The Bag directly. The claim flow asks you to prove channel ownership via platform OAuth, then links an EVM wallet as the recipient address. Until you claim, accumulated funds are held custodially and gifted on your behalf. Claiming is free. See the Claim your channel page for the full flow.
05Open launch
Anyone can launch a coin for any public channel, not just the creator themselves. Creators who have not yet joined can claim their channel at any point to take over the Bag and fee settings. Launching is permissionless; claiming is verified.
06What coin holders receive
Holding a creator coin earns auto-reflections on every trade, proportional to your balance. There is also a continuous auto-burn that reduces total supply over time, making each remaining coin a larger share. Coins are community tokens, not securities. See the Rewards page for the full split breakdown.
